Back in 2006, Neil McMullen turned his love for adventure and the great outdoors into something more, launching his own company specialising in outdoor activities in South Wales. With over 15 years of experience, Neil has grown Blue Ocean Activities into one of the leading outdoor activity providers in South Wales, offering an exciting mix of activities designed to get people moving and enjoying life.

Neil is passionate about the physical and mental benefits of staying active, and Blue Ocean Activities is dedicated to inspiring others to embrace outdoor challenges and adventures. Along the way, Neil met Danielle, who became both his wife and a key part of the team. Excellent experience all round. Andy and the team were super friendly and knowledgeable. We felt in safe hands. Clear guidance and the instructions suitable for all levels. With the weather being so good we got to do more than I expected - climbing into a mine, scrambling up waterfalls, jumping into pools. Beautiful scenery and nice group. The gorge walking was superb. We were looked after amazingly by Andy from start to finish. He explained everything really clearly and made the experience great fun setting little challenges for the group as we went round, we all had a quality time and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.
