It is important to support your team leader in any working environment. This exercise has a fun and fresh angle on how to support your group leader – by securing them to a wall!
You will need:
Duct tape
A chair
A thick marker pen
10-30 people
Find a wall with a surface that adheres to duct tape and where the paint doesn’t come loose when a test strip is ripped off. Bring the group to the wall and give them a single roll of tape. Position a chair beside the wall and ask the leader to stand on the chair and lean back against the wall, then begin taping!
Task: Secure a team leader to the wall so that he/she will stay suspended for a total of at least fifteen seconds once the chair is removed.
This fun-filled team activity requires planning, co-operation, communication, risk taking and much more. Without putting these relevant team skills in to action, it is possible that you will be putting your team leader at risk, as well as failing the given task!
